Probably the easiest way would be to buy one from a local store, as it would most likely be an emersed-grown plant. If this isn't doable then just plant your sword in some garden soil, add water to be slightly above the top of the soil, and keep up the humidity with a mister. I find having strong direct light(such as from situating the plant right below a desk lamp) during the first few days is helpful.
I'll give it a try. They grow naturally in and out of water in Amazon. I'd like to see how it will grow.
I didn't think of humidity though. Not sure how to replicate that.
