Green Hedge Plant

Well, you know the old story, if it's too good to be true, then it usually is!

I was offered one of those "great deals" on a plant labeled "Green Hedge".

A search in here brings up anything with those words in it. I was unable to get a good solid clue here.

I searched Google. Google is your friend! Or in this case, a nightmare! I think it was about 3/4 of the pages all said it's not a true aquatic plant , one said if it produces shoots from the stems then it is and the rest said its only good for giving algae a place to grow.

Please impart your wisdom for me. should I consider this stuff to be just like mondo grass and chuck it in the back yard for the mower?

Thanks...

I woke up one morning and realized my living room turned into a fish store!!! HELP!!!!

Well, you live and learn. Fortunately it was not a whole lot of money. I ended up pulling it out of the tank on Sunday. It started turning brown.

It's really a shame too. I like the way it looked, I liked the dark green color of it. All around really liked this plant.

I'm gonna try and find something thats close to that type of plant and is aquatic.
