Moss wall..moss divider?

I'm not sure if this should be in plants, DIY, or aquascaping...
I have read about people making moss walls as backdrops in their aquariums, but I was curious how dense the moss would end up being? Is it possible to make a moss divider (such as for a multi betta tank)? Would it grow on both sides, being exposed to light, and would it allow enough water flow through it to not stagnate water of the divided sections (not near a filter)?

Moss can grow both sides if both sides are exposed to lights. They will find their way towards where light is. They need to be trimmed out when they grow denser so light can penetrate otherwise they will detached itself from the mesh overtime.
