Watch out, it'll take care of your plants too if you leave the plants are in the solution long enough.
I've accidentally left mosses, stems, and other plants in the solution for far too long (45-60 minutes) and they were alright afterwards. Some sources even state to dip for as long as 90 minutes. But for most cases, a 20-30 minute dip will suffice. H2O2 is what you have to be careful with. It will cook moss and other plants if they are left too long in the dip.
