I have black mollies in fresh water. Its hard, so that might help. Maybe its an immune thing for them? Fewer diseases available?

My water counts as brackish by the total mineral count, not too much sodium, but TDS about 1000 ppm, dGH 55, dKH 12

Mollies do very well, no problems except too many babies.

Plants that do well here, vallisneria, Anubias nana, Crypt. wentii, hornwort, egeria, Amazon Sword.

So I don't know what types of plants I have? But the one I thought was an amazon sword is sprouting babies off the tips of it's leaves. Do I break them off at some point and plant them?

Amazon swords don't do that, they send off runners (I think there is another way, but i'm mostly sure they don't grow baby plantlets off of their leaves). can you post a picture of the pant?
