My current favorite is Ludwigia glandulosa. I like it's growth form (it looks like a star from above, I'm sure there's a name for that) and coloring. I tend to be partial to Ludwigias in general.

I confirmed on APD that the correct name is Ludwigia glandulosa, not L. peruensis.

The current fave in the tank is Red Cabomba - love the tufty red tops. But I'd love to get some Ludwigia repens x arcuata to accent some red&yellow petrified wood I'll be putting in the tank today, to flesh out the overall theme. Too much green in there right now!

Yup ludwigias are great red plants. I have L. repens and in high light, even no ferts turns bright ed. Easy red plant in general. That is why I like arcuata.

My day is better whenever I buy a new plant.

I thought I was the only one that was obsessed with Rotala lol.

Recently I've been having great luck with Bacopa Caroliniana. Under good lighting they go bronze and the new growth comes in red.

I like ludwigia palustris. It grows wild here in Tn and i find it kind of cool to see the transition from my back yard to my tank. It's also really nice in a med light tank easy to grow.
