faster - ET
easiest to grow - tied
Manage - Glosso (lower maintenance required) though if the conditions arent ideal, they get tall and leggy. If the substrate is nutrient rich, the roots draw deep and the leaves remain low and sunken in the substrate (hardly seen as such in hobbyist journals)
ET however is extremely easy to propagate and carpet with but requires a lot of nitrogen.
Oh that's not good.. my ET arrives tomorrow! Anyone know the secret to making it thrive?
No real secret. Just luck haha.
When i started my patch. I ordered a 2x2 portion and most was melted.
I planted about 3 small pieces and 1 month later I got about a 7x4 3" thick patch. Even though it might look melted and dying just plant it and let it do its thing.
