My Red Lotus has been very strange lately. It grew like mad for a few months. I let the stalks get to the surface and it produced one huge white flower. The leaves were gigantic and varied greatly in color, it was beautiful. Ever since the flower died and I cut the stalk back, however, since then it has produced a ton of leaves, but no flower stalks. All of the leaves quickly develop holes and rot away. It hasn't even tried to send a leaf to the surface. At first I figured it was the stress of flowering and that it would recover after a short time, but it's been about two months and it's still doing the same thing. The odd thing is that I haven't changed any water parameters in the slightest. All of my test are normal. The only thing I can figure is that the Nutrafin fert sticks ran out, but they're supposed to last for a year. Has anyone else had this happen to their lotus!?
