Really?? I got some moss that I was told peacock. Will take a pic when I got home. Thanks.

Do peacock and Christmas moss look quite similar? I have Christmas moss myself and I think it looks darker while the peacock you guys identified look a little lighter green.

It looks like it lacks the triangular growth of peacock. I vote taiwan moss.

I dont think that is Taiwan. I always have taiwan moss, this is the healthiest taiwan I have unless I misidentified this taiwan moss as well.

A lot of people, including myself last year, bought Xmas and ended up getting Peacock. It happened twice.

Wrong ID lead to another and multiplies.

This is Christmas Moss

Nope, not Taiwan.

Taiwan has more finer fronds and branches a lot.

Go to aquamoss.net

Moss ID is really hard.
Like everyone else said, One wrong ID leads to another wrong ID.

Anyways, your first picture doesnt look like xmas.
But your Post #8 look like xmas to me.

how do the fonds compare to each other in person?
#1 is finer fonds?

If you can get a better close up picture of a nice fond, should be able to ID better.

You can compare fronds structure with aquamoss.net.

I find easy to distinguished between Peacock, Taiwan and xmas moss.
