We used grow tons of herbs/plants emersed for eating or using for cooking. Turns out almost all of it can be or has been grown in an aquarium. We call Limnophila aromatica Rau Om. It gets a really cool reddish/pink under certain lighting. There's this purplish green herb (can't remember the name right now) that we grow as well. You can stop by a Vietnamese store and buy them or stop by the old Vietnamese ladies who sell herbs and veggies for dirt cheap. If you find a Vietnamese Catholic church, they'll be outside on Sunday in the morning or at least where I went to church. Everything is sold in huge bunches. Kinda like a mini market.
