Naja/Guppy Grass

I was wondering how people use Naja/Guppy Grass?

Do you just let it float or do you stick it in the substrate?

The reason I'm asking is mine just floats around the tank and I want to do something else with it.

It grows lankier but quicker planted in a substrate. It likes to fragment.

Thanks for the response. It just seems like every time I touch this plant it breaks so easy.

Anyone have this plant in there tank? I would love to see pictures.

Right now I'm having a problem with it because it ends up getting sucked in by my filter and powerhead. I have screening to block the plant from actually going in the filter but it ends up clogging the whole inlet tube which then I have to clean like daily. So I'm debating if I even want it in the tank.
