Diff colors from same Wendtii

Hi all, one of my 1st plant purchases was a Crypt Wendtii. It's doing very well in my 58gal. I took 3 shoots off it. 2 I planted in the same tank, and 1 I moved to the 125. It's the 2 next to the mother plant that look weird. One of them got really dark. It's a brownish copper color, very cool, but doesnt look anything like the mother plant or her new shoots. The next one in the same tank is even a different color still. Anyone know why or how this happens? Is it common?

130 Gal Acrylic cichlid,125 Oceanic planted, 58 Oceanic planted/cichlid. 500 timbers holding pond, 180 GF pond, 60 horse trough grow out tank. Front porch garden pond (130 overflow), Whiskey barrel water garden, Puddles when it rains.

Completely normal. Under higher light (especially direct light) Crypt wendtii turns a brownish-red. You need to keep it under canopy or in low light for it to stay green. I like both variants.
