Peace lily in bog conditions?

Hi all, can peace lillies (from Home Depot) be grown under bog conditions where the roots are submerged and the stems and leaves are emersed? Will this cause the roots to rot?

Excellent. I just setup a 30g with peace lillies suspended from the rim of the tank. The fish absolutely love swimming around the stems. It is so entertaining!!! Anyway thanks for the reply
