dwarf hair grass question

So how hard is it to get this stuff to grow? Can it be done without C02? How about under eco complete substrate and medium light?

It grows like a weed in my 5 gallon with nothing but a desk lamp. No co2 and no ferts.

I was under the impression that this stuff needed High Light and C02 to grow. Which do you guys do you think grows easier into a carpet, dwarf hairgrass or dwarf sag?

+1

and dwarf sag doesn't carpet like DHG or HC. It shoots out runners but is still more spaced out and taller than the others.

not only is dwarf grass easier, if you don't trim it, it can overrun the whole tank. I have both dwarf and HC, and I have to cut the dwarf and pull out runners so it does not blanket over the HC, which it can easily do. Definitely HC looks nicer.
