Well right now I am growing out my H. polysperma sp. "rosanervig." From what I have heard, the general consensus is to make trimmings when it gets above the desirable height and replant those trimmings in the substrate. This will make the stand denser. Also I have noticed that some of my plants have a tendency to grow 2 stems from the point where they were cut, like a hydra. Also, in time, many stem plants have offshoots on the same stem, adding more to the overall density. Hygro does this very rapidly. Patience isn't even really an issue with hygro.
