Hard black spots on Anubias?

My Anubias have weird black spots growing on them. They're hard to scrape off, but they're only old growth. Is this possible to get rid of with out clipping the leaves?

It's probably BBA but a pic would help.

It's normal. If you don't shade that plant it will grow something on it in the end. Like whickerda said, could be a BBA start. It is best to clip the leaves now until it spreads and give it shade.

More likely I think what you see is green spot algae. Either way you can spray the leaves with a mild solution of H2O2 and it will take care of the problem, though it won't prevent it from recurring.

No, it's not BBA. It's flat. And I've tried H2O2 before and it did nothing.
