A picture would be very helpful in determining what kind of algae you have.

How much (and) what kind of lighting do you have?

You mentioned your CO2 rate (1 bubble per second), but this does not actually tell us how much CO2 is being dissolved into the water column. Do you have a drop checker with a 4 dkH reference solution to check?

And finally, are you adding any fertilizers, and if so, how much and how often?

I would say reduce the light to 8hrs per day. If you can add CO2 or Excel.

what type of light is it? How far away from substrate is it? 15W doesn't tell us much these days with LED's and so forth.

I use a mag cleaner for the glass and a toothbrush on the rock. I call it PITA algae because its not really bad, but bad enough to get rid of it. Might try hydrogen peroxide. Lots of threads in the algae section on how to do it... Good luck!

last page I believe so. if it is let it live out it's life cycle for a month or so till it goes away on it's own. scrapping it is the worst thing you can do(trust me i've had it and this is how I got rid of it). as far as the rock it looks like cyanobacteria due to the stringy parts on the plant base, but not 100% sure. If it is just dose no3(nitrate) but do try to find the route of the cause. How often have you been doing your water changes? Try to aim for about 30-50% a week to get rid of excessive nutrients. R/o water does miracles in controlling algae just make sure to use gh booster to replenish lost nutrients back into the water column.
