Question what type of plant is this?

I rescued it out of the .99 cent bin. The store employee said he couldn't get it to grow. Its fine in my tank except for the little holes on the leaves.
What's the name of this plant?
What do I need to do to fix/prevent the tiny holes on the leaves?

any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks!

Sincerely, Unikorn

I've tried right clicking and hit copy image url while it was in an email. Also I've tried to do the same thing but after I posted it on FB.
Am I doing this right?

It looks just like my amazon sword plant, only a bit smaller. It's a pretty easy plant to keep IME, had one for almost 10 years now.

thanks

Ok awesome! This plant was in a bin and not marked so I wasn't sure.
Thanks guys! I just put 2 root tabs under the plant, i'll have to wait to see if that fixes the holes in the leaves.

Re: what type of plant is this?

The holes in the leaves won't heal up.
