Have you considered alternate ways to get height from the plants you have? I find putting plants in small pots hidden behind decor is a quick way to get more high plants. I use lots of rocks so I just stack a few, put the pot in and lay a few rocks in and around. It also helps me keep my bully cichlids out of the the plant roots.
Right now I have some clay pots, about 6-7 stems of Anacharis, a banana plant and some giant hair grass that I just cut down. None of my plants are tall and take much room. I have a few pieces of driftwood with some java moss attached. Im just stuck with it. I cant get it to look the way I want it to! Its a 55 gallon
the banana plant will fill out, trust me on that. I have one that takes up at least a 4th of the view in my 75, and once that thing starts heading up and spreading out even more....oh boy
I do prune it back every now and then though, so that helps
red tiger lotus gets tall, and I would suggest some sort of sword plant perhaps, those have alot of height to them.
other than that, I've always been partial to stem plants, especially the big beefy ones like L. glandulousa and L. aromatica, and essentially any hygrophilia. They will get tall and bushy for you, and fill out nicely
aside from that, this has nothing to do with height but adding smaller plants that are low to the ground might please you as well. Basically, any crypt would do the job, and I'd say try and get a fancy one just for the hell of it.
