Ferts for UG

I know it requires LOW nitrates.

Whats your dosing regime for UG?

Thanks

my ADA 30C has mineralized topsoil under ada aquasoil, and i dose EI ontop of that. i dont measure my nitrates, but im sure i have a decent amount of nitrogen in there.

This is easy to falsify:

Rummy noses chew it to death:

After and dosing 45ppm a week of NO3 as KNO3(this does not include the ADA AS, nor fish loading) 3-4 weeks later:

Nope, definitely shouldn't when it comes to UG.

It seems most people fail with this plant because they over think things and try too hard to get things perfect.

I've grown it in cold water, warm water, heavily fertilized water, under fertilized water, with CO2, without CO2.

The constant I've found is that just thinning it out every now and again is the only thing to worry about.
