Salt and Plants?

Hi there,

I think I my planted tank might have a case of Ich/Ick. In that regard, if I go towards raising the temperature and adding salt, would it kill my plants??

I have an 8 gallon tank.

What plants do you have?

I would consider if the cost of replacing fish will be greater than plants. I would add no more than one teaspoon to your 8 gallons, do you have pwrhead circulation?

I went ahead instead with Kordon's Rid Ick+. Didn't want to chance losing the plants. I have good water flow via a filter.

In my opinion, it depends on the type of the plant as well as natural properties of plant.
