Bolbitis and Moss

Can Bolbitis heudelotii and a Moss variety (Java, Xmas, etc.) be grown under the 15w lighting that comes with a 10 gallon tank? I'd replace the bulb with one made for plants, though. I just found out that my tap water isn't nearly as hard as I thought it was (6 GH).

I have grown lots of java moss in an old eclipse hood (15W bulb, 3+ years old) at times when it would not survive in my bigger tank. Anubus also came out great as the leaves were smaller but algea free. I need some more opinions, but my Bolbitis is growing quite large and stringy so I am not sure how it would do in a 10 gal tank. Maybe someone else can share the secret of keeping it compact.

Moved to Tucson.

15w flourescent should be ok for those plants. I personally never find much difference with bulbs of different color temperature, generic white/day light even warm light is good enough for me. others might disagree. Hard water is almost never a problem for plants with a few exceptions, soft water more often IS.

Truvu 100g Flourite, wet/dry, AHSupply 302w PC, PinPoint controller
10gallon15w T6+15w T8
55gallon40w T6 ODNO4x, no CO2. Discus grow out.
10gallon Tonina tank, 2x15w T6 ODNO 4x
I will do aquascapes after I collect all the plant species and grow them to perfection.
