How to propagate Isoetes lacustris

Have you pulled it out yet? When mine get really thick, it's usually self divided into 2-3 individual plants that you can just pull apart. Sorta like a crypt or Hygro compact.

If not, I would think you could split a single plant and make more. Might be best to do it with a razor. I cant remember off hand exactly how the inner base looks.

Ive also wondered if you could plant a single blade with the big round thing on the end. Never tried it.

Thanks, Burr. I haven't pulled it out yet, because I wanted to have a plan first. I remember that the round things separate easily, so that's sort of what I was thinking, maybe taking a razor blade and slicing in between those to make several clumps. Didn't know it would self-divide. It's gotten wider for sure, so maybe it's done that.
