I saw a video the other day and for the life of me cannot find it again. It was about a river that has plants that look like a blood stream. Fast current

Anybody have any info?

I hate to say it, but I doubt that plant would do well in a captive environment. At least not without a lot of special effort. A club member here found a native related species and it didn't even hang on long. I also tried an unrelated South American species from a similar habitat and it didn't do so well either. Not conclusive proof, I know.

There is also a beautiful river in Venezualla with crystal clear water and a nice red plant.....Eleocharis sp red

Its like a red version of hairgrass

Eleocharis sp. red

Also video on net
That sure doesn't look like an Eleocharis to me. Base of plant looks more like Juncus. Not certain, but not the former.

The native Juncus militaris has a submersed form that looks like that. Not so easy to cultivate (or at least keep red) though.
