I've been to Fish Frenzy, Tropical Isle, PJ's on Route 1, Dave's Soda and Pet City, and I find the quality and variety of species of fish tanks the best at Exotic Fish & Pet. The selection of dry goods may not be the biggest, but it's good enough.

The freshwater plants are all priced at $3.99, I believe.

And extra points because they're the only ones who carry more than just ghost shrimp, if at all. (Well, Petco has bamboo shrimp, but they don't feed them enough that they're having to scrape at the driftwood and substrate. D= ) I got some cherries today. =D Next week I may get some bumblebees.

There was also a mudskipper! I'm just mentioning 'cos they're cool.
