I just drove an hour (something no 19 year old kid wants to really waste gas on) or so to go buy SAEs from a very amazing fish store in Randallstown Maryland and they actually had them! two tanks of about 40 or so! but!! they were not on sale due to medication.
how sad.. but it is for the best.. better them treat/quarantine fish then me. But the trip was not a waste. I got $65.00 of plants haha.
however one that what was interesting is that they quarantine their fish. for new fish they appear to run a separate filter as well as UV the tank. one other thing that I found good about this store is their multi tank filters all right though huge tube which I can only guess to be large UV sterilizers. Also, while there I saw no sick or unhappy fish! All where ready and wanting to eat, no bottom sitters, no dieing inactive fish. It was quite amazing.
