Ok, pretty much what I figured. Nix them, along side half-black angels. Hrrrm, I definately need more tanks. I could swear we (LFS I worked at a few years ago) had some who had tiny holes for mouths. We fed them primarily bloodworms and they "slurped" them not unlike a elephant-nose.After looking at some pics online, Kotoeloncat, I stand BADLY mistaken. Same mouth as found on a Clown Knife! Im guessing the reason I only saw them "slurping" throught the "hole" was that we never tried to feed them live, and even if we did, wouldnt be there after lights out to see them eat live anyway.
That being said, and without starting a new thread, anyone know anything about Elephant-nose or Baby Whales? Im looking for something larger and unique looking that will go with a planted community basically. Thanks again guys, great info!
EDIT: Nevermind. I know the E-Nose gets too big for a heavily planted 75g (will probably end up up-rooting plants). Come to think of it, so will anything I can think of that gets larger than normal (say, 6"). Maybe I will try to find a Farlowella or Royal Farlowella for an oddball.
