Old aqua soil.

I have some old aqua soil that I need to "clean". It's from an old project and has been sitting in an aquarium since. Time in water was probably only 6-8 months. Can I just rinse it good and reuse? Never delt with used soil before. Thanks.

+1, this is a good way to get rid of a lot of the "dust" as well. I've also "cooked" it in the oven on low heat ~250 for a few hours, same results.

The only snag is i cant really sun dry with it being winter and all.. Do you think I would get the same result from just washing and spreading thin to dry for a few days inside?

Yeah that's fine. I've reused AS many times. You shouldn't have any problems. It might be a bit dusty but you can deal with that later.
