Just set up a tank with some. It seems pretty similar to other MTS I've used made by local hobbyists. The included dolomite & potash is a plus.

I just got some, have set up the tank yet though. I agree that it was nice that it included potash and dolomite.

Hello, I am setting up my first planted tank and I am planning on purchasing the mineralized soil from bamaplants. It's an 80 gallon tank low tech. Can you please share the outcome of using this soil.
Regards,
Erick

This is obviously mineralized topsoil done for you, so you don't have the mess and time involved in doing it yourself. It should work the same as DIY mineralized topsoil. Just remember that you need to cap it with a "gravel" or "sand" type substrate. It isn't a stand alone substrate.

That looks like a neat on line store to try out. I bookmarked it for future use.
