I had to buy adapters on Amazon. Lately read of someone getting adapters at Fastenal Industrial supplies.

That is $113 US. Good price! When did you set it up?

There are lots of places to get adapters cheaply. This is particularly true if you buy them in bulk.

I set up my CO2 a few years ago, before the big hype (which caused massive price increases)

Just buy an inline reactor on Ebay for about $15. You can not make 1 any cheaper

I just found an old post on another forum once I searched for your regulator on google. Is the one below a separate setup or pre-upgrade? Just curious.

Enjoy the update!

January 5 2009

Here is the setup as of yesterday. I didn't bother taking out the equipment before a shot, and I couldn't find a nice black background, so I just used blue.

Current setup is:

1x 6500K 13W CFL bulb
1x 3500K 26W CFL bulb

Red Sea Nano Filter

Fluorite Black Sand substrate

Pressurized CO2 (see below)

CO2 setup is:

10 lb tank
Victor HPT272-350B regulator
Parker solenoid
Swagelok B-SS2-A metering valve
JBJ bubble counter

Current flora include:
Dwarf Hairgrass
Anubias barteri var. 'nana'

That was an older setup. I swapped out the Swagelok for a Parker H3L mainly for aesthetic/functional reasons (the Parker had a nice vernier while the Swagelok didn't; both are excellent valves, however)

Parker H3L needle valve is listed $394 at valinonline. Did you pay that much for it?

So many Parkers on eek bay. Suggestion on how to thin it out?

Searching on eekbay and amazon I only found this precision needle valve by Up Aqua which similar to the 1 I got with a Citric Co2 kit

Correct. I think I paid 20 something USD for it. It was back when there was this guy that had 100+ for sale and a bunch of us jumped onto the bandwagon

I think Bettatail composed a good list; otherwise, you will have to go through the spec sheets yourself.

I used to have the time to do this myself, but work/life has been busy lately, so I haven't really had time to build more regulator setups.
