Thanks for all the comments.

This tank is still chugging along nicely. I haven't seen it in quite awhile, since I have relocated to San Juan last year. But the office takes care of it on their own nicely. The LED's have reddened things up at the top so I've heard. The adults have since been donated back to the local store where they were purchased since there are seven youngsters roaming around now. I've been told its a bit overgrown at the moment and in need of a major trim. The office does do minor trimming and maintenance though.

I'll update pictures when I'm back in Phoenix in early April for a trip.

Evidently the adults are still there and never got taken back. If someone would like a adult male Surinam Cobalt and/or a female Inferalanis, I will be in town the 31st thru the 15th of April. I would prefer not to ship if it can be avoided. I will answer pm's when I get back to Phoenix.

I'll update photo's when I'm back in Phoenix in early April. I'll be doing a major trim at that time also to give it space to grow back in again. It's due for a two year make over.

Long time no update on this tank. I finally got back into town so I could take photo's of the tank. Mechanically the tank has held up great. I finally had to clean the filter since flow was greatly reduced (okay non-existant) . Otherwise everything has held up great and virtually maintenance free. I've had to replace one of the ADA fans that circulate air through the internal system. Those have lasted alot longer then originally anticipated.

The tank has definitely settled in nicely. Growth is constant and needs constant trimming. I changed the tank to a leaf litter base to keep the amount of trimming down to lower levels. The Staurogyne is truly a weed and overtakes the tank very quickly at lower levels. After changing the lighting to add LED's the color of the plants really changed, along with a noticable temperature drop. Eventually I'll remove the remaining three remaining flourescents and double up the LED's. The LED's are just so much better at coloring up the plants and adding more realistic lighting and depth.

Frogs have done really well. The wild caught female passed on but left us with a bunch of little ones. The tank currently is home to the original male and three children. I'll be adding some thumbnails this spring/summer. Haven't decided on which species of thumbnails I want to add at this time.

Enjoy.

I tried going back to look at the pictures of how you set it up, but the pictures URLs were all gone. I'd be interested in seeing how the tank was built, so if you don't mind or have the time, maybe you could upload them to your Photobucket?

This is a gorgeous set up and very inspirational! Love it.
