go green vivarium

My wife was complaining about the electricity bill so I transformed my 20g tropical tank to this.

before it was using
250w heater
20w t5
15w canister

now
no heater
5w led
1.3w airpump for sponge filter
3w mini submersible pump/filter to circulate water through the rocks
?w aquarium fan..only sometimes to circulate air

not sure how much of an impact it will make..lol...still got 3 other tanks, but I had an excuse to build something.

Thanks. I have male swordtails in there for now. Once I'm 100% sure I got all the females and fry out of my planted tank they are going back in there. Any suggestions on what to get then? Thinking maybe something different..Japanese fire belly newt?

Use LEDs if you want so save on the power bill!
Also, more environmental, both because of electricity savings and because you're not constantly throwing bulbs in the trash.

I've seen these/w Bromelades in them and Orchids.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...
