Hello Boggy people!

So I have a sudden interest in sundews, they look really cool and they can have all the gnats they can eat from the other plans on my desk - little bastards.

Venus flytraps are cool too, and small pitcher plants - any smallish carnivorous plant would be interesting.

Anyone selling them online as a hobbiest, or do you have any experience with a good online shipper?

They would be grown on this desk with the other plants, under fluorescent light. (bottom pic)

Keep in mind that VFTs and Sarracenias are temperate plants with important dormancy phases. Most subtropical dews, for example, show more consistent vegetative growth throughout the year.

I'm also unable to see a pic (might be because I just registered), but CP's need fairly intense and consistent lighting compared to any houseplants that you may keep on a desk.

I've ordered from California Carnivores, Cooks, FlyTrap Shop, far as I can remember.

Drosera capensis or D. spatulata are good beginner sundews for growing indoors under lights.

Ebay is a good place to purchase sundews if you know what you're looking for.

I'll add in D. adelae as a good beginner 'dew. Also tends to do better in less light.
