Optimal Riparium Stand/Height?

Hey guys, I'm building a stand for my riparium and wanted your thoughts on a recommended height in terms of angle/proper viewing of the setup? For example, should the water line be eye height?

I have a Mr.Aqua 17.4. I will likely go with 31" high. It's the tallest I can go while seated. I have two cats so trying to go as high as possible without ruining the effect of the tank.
