I just picked up a new Marine Land 75 gallon and I'm going to use it as a paludarium with feeder guppies in the water, so this is technically an aquarium question.
I put down a layer of regular fish tank gravel, and now I need bigger rocks to raise the land area above the water line, I figured the easiest way to do this is with 1-2 inch rocks from a hard ware store. the tank dimensions are 48x19x21. Filled only 6-7 inches of water, and land about 1-2 inches higher at 8-9inches off the bottom.
So I have two questions.
1. What rocks should I avoid, Because they could affect my water parameters.
2. What size would be best for Raising the land above water level
