Not really. There are lot of ppl out there keeping terrarium which with Tarantula, gecko, snake or iguana. As long as it is dry with plants. And you can keep some animal inside there. You will make the terrarium more interesting and like keeping the real ecology.
I originally joined this forum for info on my planted aquarium, and I stumbled across this. I have an interest in reptiles and also like building naturalistic vivaria. Nothing quite as stunning as yours. You seem to have an advantage with the sweet location were you reside. Anyway, this is amazing work! Have you considered Mantella or Dart Frogs? I myself have considered building something for mixed species. Mantella frogs with small Day Gecko sp., Dwarf Chamelion's and even a Rough Green Snake. Well just some hints, but im sure you have a great vision already! Again..awesome display

hey dom looks to be going good i hope those suggestions helped they are a general thing that came to mind that day,... lol looking good so far you got ur oriental whip snakes? are they a type of tree snake by chance they look it
Thanks dudes. Yes. There are 2 snakes. 1 is the Oriental Whip and another is the Brounzeback which you can checked on the pictures posted. They are doing well and especially the brounzeback. Eating twice per week. Oriental Whip kinda shy and eat once per week. Both also males and waiting to get the female.
Both snakes are native to Malaysia and it is very common snake you can get inside the jungle. Not the protected species.
It is not really advice to mix the gecko, chamelion, snake and froggies inside the setup. In wild, gecko and chamelion do eat froggie and insects. Snake do eat gecko, chamelion n froggies. You should keep those which is no harm to each other.
