Help with my plants (black tips)

My peace lilly and emersed hygro.polysperma have both started to develop black tips on their leaves. All other plants are growing fine. Any idea what's up?

Does your tapwater have fluoride in it?

What does tapwater with flouride do to plants, and how do you know if it's in the water?

Fluoride can cause black/brown leaf tips, though it more often happens in plants will longer strap-like leaves because the long leaf span concentrates the fluoride at the tip. I would be surprised to see it in H. polysperma.

There are a few other causes for leaf tip browning. I think some nutrient deficiemcies can also account for it but I can't remember which.

Yep there's fluoride in the water but I rarely make waterchanges, it's an el natural tank, which would make the deficiency suggestion more plausible.

I'll try dosing and see if that helps. I can't understand it with the Hygro though it's planted in Ada Amazonia 2. It's a year old but still.

After researching a bit further it's either a) fluoride b) too MUCH fertiliser c) too low humidity d) too high light.

I'm eliminating a and b as this is a recent problem and the tank's been set up for months with barely a waterchange, so it can't be fluoride. Plus I have a peace lilly on the windowsill watered with tap water. I don't dose so it won't be over fertilisation.

It is however right under the light now it's grown so much. I do spray but maybe I need to increase given it's going to be very dry where the top leaves are.

Grrrr
