Here is my 50 Gallon container pond. It is a stainless steel watering trough from Tractor Supply. This is the second year I have have had this pond going. Last year was a struggle to keep it going with my koi eating every plant i put in there. This year my rescued feeder, shubunkin, and fancy are doing great and leaving the plants alone. The hot weather this week was a challenge but everyone seems to be doing well and the plants are blooming.
Dwarf water lettuce
Java moss-found while cleaning
A taro of some kind
5 feeder goldfish
1 fantail goldfish
Equipment is just a gravity powered filter fed by a 325 GPH pump in a prefilter with lava rock.

The waterlily weathered the winter great and is providing lots of shade on these hot days. I was lucky to get 1 bloom last year and this year i have 8 going at once.
I had been wondering why my thrush wasn't blooming yet and this week all 4 blooms came up.
Filtration and random parrots feather. The driftwood was some extra from an indoor tank that I didn't have room for. This has been a great place to put all of my extra dwarf water lettuce from my 10 gallon.
One of the former feeders enjoying a better life.
We are currently in the process of looking for a new home and space to build a proper 1,000+ gallon pond for these guys is one of my requirements.
