Containing Algae.

I currently have a pond roughly 700-800 gallons with 2 Lilies in there along with some amazon frogbit. There are 4 small, 6" butterfly Koi in there along with 2 normal ones, 9".
I currently have tons of algae in there and its really starting to annoy me.
Theres so much algae that it clogs my pump to the point that I have to clean it in order for it to work!
What should I do to at least minimize the amount of algae in my pond?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Somehow block out the sun. Perhaps more floating plant but the koi would eventually eat them.

Spot treat with H2O2 :-) ... Overdose Ecxel buy the gallon :-)

No but seriously... when I started reasearching Algae and H2O2 must of what I read was geared toward pond issues.
