Greets -- I've had something kill off a lot of glosso and it seems to be migrating from the left side of the tank to the right in a patch about ~5" in diameter. The glosso leaves turn transparent, then die off. I can't see any type of algae growing on the leaves. Any ideas what could be causing this? :?

pH - 6.6
KH - 1
GH - 89.5ppm (5dGH)
NO3 - 10ppm
PO4 - .50

29gallon, 110w 6700 (on 12 hours), eco-complete/black moon sand sub.

The glosso on the right is currently melting :?

How long has this glosso been planted in this tank? Usually the newly planted stuff will die after the new shoots take root.

Marcel -- the glosso has been planted for about 2 months now. I'm pretty sure the original shoots already died off. All the ones dying now are new.

I can now see some kind of stringy green algae covering the area thats dying. Now to identify it and try to get rid of it before it kills more!

arg... just when things were going great, this happens! WHYYYYY!!!!

On a side note, what is that blurred fish in the front of the second pic?

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

Could the one in the second pic, in the top right, be some sort of killifish?
