What do I have here?? Help pls



How should I get rid of this? I just noticed it today im not sure how long its been there but ive dosed 5ml of excel for now.
Thanks in advanced.

This is a 6g fluval edge with stock led lights. Ive put an amano in there hopefully he likes this stuff.

Are you referring to the brown dusting that is on your rock? It looks like diatoms to me.

let it run its course, its really common for new tanks at the end of a cycle and will go away most of the time

snails and ottos do great at keeping this type of algae at bay

It is better to travel well than to arrive.

Thanks!! Ive dosed some excel and put an amano..hopefully that does the trick! Not really new tank but I dunno how long this has been there
