BGA explosion after adding DIY Co2
I added Diy Co2 to my 300 l planted tank and since then I have had an explosion of BGA.My tanks Ph is 6.8,Temp 26/27 degrees No2 zero, Nh3 zero. The tank has been running for about 5 months.I need help
start dosing, basically... the extra co2 helped the plants burn up all the fish waste and stuff... so now they're starving and the bga is surviving on less than the plants need to compete.
You need nitrates for sure. BGA has the capability of performing nitrogen fixation which enables it to thrive where other things cannot. Also make sure you have a good circulation within the tank.
