Had this for awhile, kept it slightly at bay with lower light levels using duckweed. Got rid of all (haha) duckweed which bumped up the light levels, and this stuff has increased massively.
I find manually removing it tends to remove the bulk of it with my wooden skewer contraption but also spreads lots of small strands/fibres around. Other than manual removal and cutting back on light......what else can be done to beat this stuff. I've seem to recall reading it can be a scape killer
can provide better close ups if needed for id (im like %90 its clado) just need to charge up the ol' camera
Thanks Veese, H2O2 is sometihng I have yet to try. I thought it couldnt really be killed by anything? I have 4 Amanos in there (13g) and they must be too well fed to want to touch the stuff, never really see them go after it. It is nasty stuff.
