Just echoing the bit about not needing to cap flourite, unless you don't like how it looks or something.

That pic of your stand, though... You might want to add some bracing or something, it looks like it's visibly bowed by the weight of the tank on top. I'd suggest either removing the tank and adding a brace, or putting another piece of plywood on their (either across the whole top, or even just under the tank itself), and putting some foam twixt the tank and the stand.

And seeing how the tank on th bottom is just going to be bigger and heavier, I'd do the same for that as well, before filling it.
