fluval flora / filter upgrade questions

I have had my Fluval Flora tank up and running now since early December. I have been battling hair algae for a while but have slowed it down when upgrading my co2 system and started dosing excel. Also started to use RO water opposed to tap. In any case I'm looking to upgrade/change my filter. I was wondering if there is a filter of choice or if the penguin bio wheel would do? The bio wheel hang on filters have two sizes, 10g or 20g and under. Any recommendations or experience?

Fluval Flora
Finnex Planted+ Led Fixture
Aqueon 100w Heater (76-77 degrees)
Fluval Stratum Substraite, 1.5 small bags
Fluval co2 88 kit (replaced the stock one)
Excel - .6ml daily
Florish - .6ml 3x's a week

I second the Eheim - I put a small canister on and no algae problems. But then, I'm low tech and just using the stock light.

I put a Tom's Mini Rapids C-80 on my Flora.. it works well, is quiet, and with a max flow of 80gph..it's perfect
