I just bought a itsy bitsy little nano (probably <0.25 gallon). I'm not dumb enough to try to put fish in this thing but I thought maybe I could use it as a little planted tank... here is what I was thinking... maybe some type of plant that grows out of the water but not a large plant and not one that needs alot of light... I have lots of banana plants that are currently quarter sized little plants but I read they can get rather large... here look at the tank... got any ideas? It was so cheap and cute I had to buy it even if I wind up using it as a waterless decoration for my desk.
Yes, they originate just as bee- and bumblebee shrimp from S.E. China streams, hot summers, short winters but frost possible and get to deal with cold (melt)water. They stop breeding at temps around 15C but I keep them outside all year around. Just like the WCMM (White Clouds).
coooooollll so 4L is about one US gallon, do you think my little one liter thing is too small (the lid thing isnt an issue as I can make a lid and cover it when Im not in the office, if I dont go with the plants growing out of it idea)? I would think so but you proved me wrong once
