Iwagumi nano glosso tank

Hey guys,

I used to have a bunch of HC in this 3G tank but it didnt turn out the way I wanted so I decided to rip it out and use some glosso. The day after planting, I found elongated internodes hinting that theres probably insufficient light. I'm using the fugeray 12" and I just dont think its cut out to be a good light for iwagumi or carpet tanks. My HC was way too long as well and I was hoping the glosso would be a little less demanding but I was wrong.

Sooooo...I decided to ditch the LED route and buy a PC light fixture. This is what I ended up purchasing. I got 1 x 13W 6500K and 1 x 13W 10000K so hopefully this will help. Anybody have experience with this fixture?

Before: I thought frequent pruning would cause the HC to be less "string-like" but it didnt

After

Specs:
3 gallon nano
Glosso
Paintball CO2
Catalina nano PC lighting 26W *coming*
