That looks just like I like'm, overgrown jungle.
Do you have CO2? Any ferts?
Does anyone happen to know what the reddish plant in the back is?
I bought a bottle of Seachem comprehensive & put it in an old soap dispenser bottle dilluted with water probably 1:8 ratio. It is really really water downed & I do 2 pumps every water change...anymore I would get algae. I've had this bottle for a little over a year now.
No root tabs although I am thinking about them since my substrate is just sand.
Diy c02, The biocube uses a wet/dry system but the back is filled with filter floss with the water level high to prevent splashing.
I diffuse the c02 via chopstick that I sawed the end off of "cleaner cut gets finer bubbles" It is held down via suction cup next to the return pump & the return pump area is filled with a fine foam all the way to the top so the c02 has to work it's way past the foam rather than out gassing. I get pearling everyday & allow the c02 run 24/7 rather than taking it out or running an airstone at night " I don't believe the levels are high enough to harm the shrimp" They breed a lot & the babies don't seem to mind
I decided to remove a lot of the plants & actually go for an aquascape (first time)
I have weeping moss on the front left (trying to copy a bush)-Star grass in the left rear-The right (I forgot the name) (trying to copy a bush). In the middle of it all is a barrier of rocks with (light colored sand) trying to make it look like a walk way.
