Talking 5 Gallon Planted Nano.

Hello Everybody! This is my 5 Gallon planted Nano Tank, its fauna are a small colony of red cherry shrimp. The Flora for this tank (left to right) is BL:Rotala Indica, LF:Stargrass (with a piece of java moss mixed in..whoops ) Center:Hygrophilia polysperma, and that is it. I'm planning a polysperma back ground (from where it currently is to the right side of the tank) and rotala indica from where it currently is now to the polysperma. I'm also planning on a stargrass carpet . Filtration is a Aqueon (powerflow?) 10, with a aquaclear sponge over the intake. Heater is a 25 watt topfin piece of junk, (hopefully getting a new one soon) Please, feel free to leave your opinions! -Danny

Your filter sponge is so white. Is the tank cycled?
Nice orientation of the wood but it's very centered.
Add more plants!

I was pretty much going to say what otofish did!
I think it's a good start, though

I have a piece of wood just like that. Try getting a bigger piece and orienting it so that it looks like a root coming off, then cover in moss.

Update #1

Alright hey everybody. So i just got done adding a few plants. As soil recommended, I trimmed + replanted the rotala. I added a crypt, kindly recommended by javajive1981. I moved the wood a bit and yeah. Tell me what you guys think! Note: This tank WILL soon be a 14 gallon biocube..once i get around to tearing down my reef.
