My invert housing, riparium

I decided to put together a shrimp tank a while ago to grow a population for my bigger tank (in which they might get eaten). Theres alot of small snails as well but I think it just makes it more interesting Its a 9 gallon tank

The emersed plant is a Epipremnum aureum I cut into pieces and grew in the tank, turned out great! I had it in window at the time and the leafs are starting to look pale in the corner its in now so Im thinking about getting better lighting

substrate is dirt and gravel topped with english sea-pebbles and the only plant in the water is hornwort

Im currently feeding spirulina pellets and nano sticks. I've got two amano shrimp and 8 Rili shrimp. Two is pregnant and one has eggs on the way so Im very happy! Its my first shrimp experience

Looks great! Yes, the plant would probably appreciate a little more light, but the set up is lovely. Good luck with your shrimp.

to not obstruct view, it may help to put the lights on the sides.

Also just curious why you added dirt if you are not going to grow plants? is this simply for aesthetics?

Nice wood you could hang the lights from the ceiling with small hooks and that would look cool . I love shrimp.

I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way.
